Meet the Founder
At Future Nurses Test Prep & Tutoring, we're more than a test prep company—we're your biggest supporters on your journey to becoming a nurse.
Founded in 2021 by Dr. Alisha Kimber, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, Future Nurses Test Prep & Tutoring was created to help nursing students build the confidence, clinical judgment, and test-taking skills needed to succeed on nursing exams and the NCLEX®.
As a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and experienced nurse educator, Dr. Kimber is passionate about preparing future nurses for success both in the classroom and in clinical practice. She believes that great nurses aren't made by memorizing content—they're developed by learning to think critically, make sound clinical decisions, and confidently apply their knowledge.
Dr. Kimber serves as nursing faculty in both undergraduate and graduate nursing programs and mentors nursing students, nurse practitioner students, and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) candidates. Through years of teaching, mentoring, and precepting, she has guided countless future nurses as they navigate academic challenges, strengthen clinical reasoning, and build confidence in their abilities.
Her evidence-based teaching methods and proven test-taking strategies have helped countless students reduce test anxiety, improve clinical judgment, and confidently pass nursing school exams and the NCLEX®.
